The Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) volleyball held off the host Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ), 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Vipers now possess a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Willow Canyon for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 15. Verrado will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Peoria (Peoria, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Basha drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Apollo (Glendale, AZ) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 15.
