The Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) volleyball held off the visiting Northwest Christian Crusaders (Phoenix, AZ), 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Vipers now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Willow Canyon for a non-league bout on Saturday, March 15. Verrado will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Peoria (Peoria, AZ). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, Northwest Christian drops to 4-4 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Friday, March 14.
