Louisiana High School Softball - Sumner bounces Fontainebleau
March 14, 2025: Kentwood, LA 70444 The Sumner Cowboys softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Fontainebleau Bulldogs to 3 in the Cowboys non-league win on Friday.
The Cowboys now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Hermon for a non-league battle on Monday, March 17. Sumner will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 14-1 non-league loss to Franklinton (Franklinton, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Fontainebleau moves to 6-11 on the season. The Bulldogs host Chalmette (Chalmette, LA) to confront the Owls in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Owls come into the battle with a record of 7-4.
