Louisiana High School Softball - Albany gets by Fontainebleau
March 1, 2025: Mandeville, LA 70471 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Albany Hornets (Albany, LA) and the host Fontainebleau Bulldogs (Mandeville, LA), observed Albany's softball team get by Fontainebleau by a tally of 6-5.
The Hornets (5-3) will now prepare for their bout against Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA). The Green Wave go into the non-league bout with a 5-2 record. In their last bout, Ponchatoula was nipped by Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA), 11-0, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Covington Lions (Covington, LA) in a 5A District 6 bout, on Thursday, March 6. Fontainebleau will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record.
