Louisiana High School Softball - St. John bounces Springfield
March 14, 2025: Plaquemine, LA 70764 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA) and the visiting Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA), observed St. John's softball team notch a victory over Springfield by a tally of 12-4.
The Eagles (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against Holden (Holden, LA). The Rockets go into the non-league bout with a 7-4 record. In their last bout, Holden was routed by Mandeville (Mandeville, LA), 8-7, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Assumption Mustangs (Napoleonville, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 14. Springfield will attempt to advance on its 3-9 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 12-0 league win over South Lafourche (Galliano, LA).
