The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Marshall Barristers (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Bell Eagles (Bell, CA), observed Marshall's softball team prevail over Bell by a tally of 12-1.

The Barristers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against USC-MAE (Los Angeles, CA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, USC-MAE topped Diego Rivera (Los Angeles, CA), 21-9, in a non-league contest.

The Eagles now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Huntington Park for a Eastern contest on Monday, March 16. Bell will face a Spartans squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Rancho Dominguez (Long Beach, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-2.
