In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Paradise Panthers softball team scored a tight 7-5 victory over the Windthorst Trojans.

The Panthers (16-2) will now prepare for their match against Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX). The Bearcats go into the 3A Region II District 10 match with a 12-6 record. In their last match, Pilot Point tipped Callisburg (Gainesville, TX), 16-1, in a league match.

Next up, the Trojans play the Petrolia Pirates (Petrolia, TX) in a 2A Region II District 9 game, on Monday, March 16. Windthorst will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Pirates enter the game with a 8-5 record after their 10-0 league win over Archer City (Archer City, TX).
