In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Paradise Panthers softball team scored a tight 6-4 win over the Memorial Mavericks.

The Panthers (19-4) will now prepare for their match against Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX). The Whitesboro come into the 3A Region II District 10 match with a 21-8 record. In their last match, Whitesboro nipped Ponder (Ponder, TX), 4-3, in a league match.

In their next game, the Mavericks confront the Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 match, on Friday, April 10. Memorial will attempt to better on its 9-13 season record. The Cougars come into the match with a 11-10 record after their 7-1 league loss to Abilene (Abilene, TX).
