Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Red Springs Red Devils (Red Springs, NC), 9-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders confront the Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, March 16. Midway will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Spartans enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 5-1 non-league win over Pender (Burgaw, NC).

The Red Devils now have a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Midway for a Southeastern Athletic 2A challenge on Friday, March 18.
