Chaparral Lobos (Chaparral, NM) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM), 20-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Lobos now own a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cobre for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22.

With the loss, Hot Springs falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM) to face the Desert Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Desert Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 5-5. Santa Teresa lost 21-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Deming (Deming, NM)
