Texas High School Softball - Childress falls to Shallowater
March 15, 2022: Childress, TX 79201 In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Shallowater Mustangs softball team scored a nice 30-9 win over the Childress Bobcats.
Coming up next, the Mustangs battle the Idalou Wildcats (Idalou, TX) in a 3A Region I District 2 outing, on Saturday, March 19. Shallowater will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the outing with a 9-5 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Brownfield (Brownfield, TX).
The Bobcats (3-7) will now prepare for their outing against Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX). The Eagles enter the 3A Region I District 2 outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Roosevelt was routed by Tulia (Tulia, TX), 16-1, in a league outing.
