North Carolina High School Softball - Kings Mountain bounces Huss
March 15, 2022: Kings Mountain, NC 28086 The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) and the visiting Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC), saw Kings Mountain's softball squad achieve victory over Huss by a count of 23-1.
The Mountaineers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burns for a non-league match on Wednesday, March 16. Kings Mountain will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Thomas Jefferson (Mooresboro, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Huss falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to South Point (Belmont, NC) to face the Red Raiders in a Big South 3A match on Friday, March 18. The Red Raiders enter the match with a record of 1-3. South Point lost 15-0 in their recent league match against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC)
