Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball team defeat the visiting Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS), 9-0 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Kossuth improves its record to 8-2 on the year. The Aggies travel to Myrtle (Myrtle, MS) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league game on Friday, March 18. The Hawks come into the game with a record of 2-2. Myrtle lost 18-1 in their recent non-league game against Kossuth (Kossuth, MS)
