Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA), 2-1 in a league test.

With the win, Esperanza upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Aztecs host Brea Olinda (Brea, CA) to battle the Wildcats in a North Hills test on Tuesday, March 19. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 3-8. Brea Olinda lost 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Fullerton (Fullerton, CA)

With the defeat, Canyon falls to 5-6 on the season. The Comanches host Yorba Linda (Yorba Linda, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a North Hills test on Tuesday, March 19.
