First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC), 8-0 in a league test.

With the win, First Flight upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Nighthawks host Manteo (Manteo, NC) to battle the Redskins in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A test on Tuesday, March 19. The Redskins come into the test with a record of 3-5. Manteo won 11-6 in their recent league test against Holmes (Edenton, NC)

With the defeat, Northeastern falls to 1-3 on the season. The Eagles host Holmes (Edenton, NC) to battle the Aces in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A test on Tuesday, March 19. The Aces come into the test with a record of 3-6. Holmes lost 11-6 in their recent league test against Manteo (Manteo, NC)
