American Leadership Academy-Johnston Patriots (Clayton, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Northwood Temple Academy Eagles (Fayetteville, NC), 16-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Patriots now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Non Varsity Opponent for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 19.

With the loss, Northwood Temple Academy falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Freedom Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC) to face the Patriots in a NCISAA Sandhills challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 5-0. Freedom Christian Academy won 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against North Raleigh Christian Academy (Raleigh, NC)
