In Friday's non-league contest, the Salt Fork Storm (Sidell, IL) softball team overwhelmed the host Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL), by a margin of 18-6.

With the triumph, Salt Fork moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Storm host Oakwood (Fithian, IL) to play the Comets in a non-league contest on Monday, March 18. The Comets come into the contest with a record of 0-2.

In their next game, the Knights play the St. Teresa Bulldogs (Decatur, IL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 19. Blue Ridge will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
