Illinois High School Softball - Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] bounces Blue Ridge
April 24, 2024: Farmer City, IL 61842 Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] Titans (Kansas, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL), 14-10 in a league challenge.
The Titans now sport a 7-13 record. They take the field next when they host Arcola for a Lincoln Prairie challenge on Thursday, April 25. Tri-County [Kansas/Shiloh/Oakland] will face a Purple Riders squad coming off a 8-5 league win over Sullivan (Sullivan, IL). The Purple Riders record now stands at 6-6.
With the loss, Blue Ridge falls to 7-12 on the campaign. The Knights host Heritage (Broadlands, IL) to face the Hawks in a Lincoln Prairie challenge on Monday, April 29. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 0-11. Heritage lost 9-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Arthur-Okaw Christian (Arthur, IL)
