First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Nighthawks now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they host Manteo for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge on Tuesday, March 19. First Flight will battle a Redskins squad coming off a 11-0 league loss to Holmes (Edenton, NC). The Redskins record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Northeastern falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Eagles host Holmes (Edenton, NC) to battle the Aces in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A challenge on Tuesday, March 19.
