March 15, 2025: Houma, LA 70364 The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Covenant Christian Academy Lions (Houma, LA) and the visiting East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA), saw Covenant Christian Academy's baseball team gain a win over East Jefferson by a tally of 11-1.
The Lions (20-0) will now prepare for their battle against Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA). The Tigers enter the 1A District 7 battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Hanson Memorial prevailed over Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA), 7-3, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Warriors face the West Jefferson Buccaneers (Harvey, LA) in a 5A District 10 battle, on Monday, March 17. East Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record.
