Covenant Christian Academy Lions (Houma, LA) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA), 10-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Covenant Christian Academy advances its record to 30-0 on the season. The Lions host Assumption (Napoleonville, LA) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league match on Saturday, April 5. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 2-23. Assumption lost 7-6 in their recent league match against E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA)

The Bulldogs now have a 12-17 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bogalusa for a 3A District 8 match on Monday, April 7. Springfield will battle a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Pine (Franklinton, LA). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 6-10.
