In Saturday's non-league game, the host Sinton Pirates baseball team scored a close 7-6 victory over the London Pirates.

The Pirates (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Cornerstone Christian (San Antonio, TX). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 17-4 record. In their last game, Cornerstone Christian held off Bo Porter Academy (Rosharon, TX), 14-0, in a non-league game.

Next, the Pirates face the Orange Grove Bulldogs (Orange Grove, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 30 game, on Tuesday, March 18. London will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 9-4 record after their 5-4 non-league win over Rockport-Fulton (Rockport, TX).
