California High School Volleyball - Santa Clarita Christian edged by Vasquez

The Vasquez Mustangs held off the visiting Santa Clarita Christian Cardinals volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's league test.

The Mustangs now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Desert Christian for a test on Saturday, March 19. Vasquez will confront a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league win over Trinity Classical Academy (Valencia, CA). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.

The Cardinals (2-4) will now prepare for their test against The Palmdale Aerospace Academy (Palmdale, CA). The Griffins enter the Freelance test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, The Palmdale Aerospace Academy held off Santa Clarita Christian (Canyon Country, CA), 3-2, in a league test.
