California High School Baseball - West holds off Lawndale
March 16, 2022: Lawndale, CA 90260 West Warriors (Torrance, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Lawndale Cardinals (Lawndale, CA), 4-0 in a league test.
With the win, West upgrades its record to 5-5 on the season. The Warriors host Windward (Los Angeles, CA) to battle the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, March 17. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 0-5. Windward lost 17-5 in their recent non-league test against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA)
With the defeat, Lawndale falls to 0-3 on the season. The Cardinals travel to West (Torrance, CA) to battle the Warriors in a test on Friday, March 18. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 5-6. West lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Windward (Los Angeles, CA)
