South Carolina High School Softball - Cane Bay can't get by James Island
March 16, 2022: Charleston, SC 29412 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the James Island Trojans (Charleston, SC) softball team held off the visiting Cane Bay Cobras (Summerville, SC), by a margin of 8-7.
With the triumph, James Island moves its record to 3-4 on the year. The Trojans host Hilton Head (Hilton Head Island, SC) to play the Seahawks in a AAAA Region 7 contest on Monday, March 21. The Seahawks come into the contest with a record of 8-2. Hilton Head won 8-3 in their recent non-league contest against Battery Creek (Beaufort, SC)
In their next game, the Cobras play the Fort Dorchester Patriots (North Charleston, SC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, March 23. Cane Bay will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 11-4 non-league loss to Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC).
