Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Grossmont Foothillers (El Cajon, CA), 8-4 in a non-league test.

With the win, Point Loma upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Pointers host Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA) to battle the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, March 17. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 4-3. Steele Canyon lost 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA)

With the defeat, Grossmont falls to 4-4 on the season. The Foothillers host Eastlake (Chula Vista, CA) to encounter the Titans in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 20. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Eastlake lost 7-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA)
