March 16, 2023: Colquitt, GA 39837 Miller County Pirates (Colquitt, GA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA), 15-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Miller County upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Pirates host Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA) to battle the Red Devils in a 1A D-II Area 1 test on Friday, March 17. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 1-3. Randolph-Clay lost 15-0 in their recent league test against Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA)
With the defeat, Marion County falls to 4-10 on the season. The Eagles travel to Hardaway (Columbus, GA) to battle the Hawks in a non-league test on Monday, March 20. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 7-7. Hardaway lost 10-0 in their recent league battle against Bainbridge (Bainbridge, GA)
