Georgia High School Baseball - Thomas County Central nudged by Tift County
March 16, 2023: Tifton, GA 31794 The Tift County Blue Devils nudged the visiting Thomas County Central Yellow Jackets baseball team by a tally of 3-2 in Thursday's league bout.
The Blue Devils now hold a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they host Northside for a 6A Area 1 game on Tuesday, March 21. Tift County will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 13-1 league loss to Lee County (Leesburg, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-15.
The Yellow Jackets (10-7) will now prepare for their game against Houston County (Warner Robins, GA). The Bears go into the 6A Area 1 game with a 15-1 record. In their last game, Houston County tipped Veterans (Kathleen, GA), 10-0, in a league game.
