The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA) and the visiting Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA), saw Alhambra's volleyball squad nip Freedom by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Alhambra upgrades its record to 9-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA) to play the Red Devils in a bout on Thursday, March 23. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

The Falcons now own a 4-7 record. They play next when they host Concord for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 21. Freedom will play a Minutemen squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Benicia (Benicia, CA). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-3.
