March 16, 2023: High Point, NC 27262 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) and the host High Point Central Bison (High Point, NC), saw Atkins's soccer squad triumph over High Point Central by a count of 9-0.
The Camels now hold a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Ben L. Smith for a Mid-State 3A test on Monday, March 20. Atkins will meet a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Carver (Winston-Salem, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-4.
With the loss, High Point Central drops to 0-5 on the season. The Bison host Dudley (Greensboro, NC) to meet the Panthers in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 21. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-0.
