Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Pirates face the Central Academy Cougars (Monroe, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, March 22. Porter Ridge will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 2-5 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Hibriten (Lenoir, NC).
