Georgia High School Soccer - Paulding County held off by South Paulding
March 16, 2023: Dallas, GA 30157 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the South Paulding Spartans (Douglasville, GA) and the host Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA), saw South Paulding's soccer squad get by Paulding County by a margin of 1-0.
The Spartans now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cartersville for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 21. South Paulding will meet a Hurricanes squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Bremen (Bremen, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Paulding County drops to 6-6 on the season. The Patriots travel to Newnan (Newnan, GA) to meet the Cougars in a 6A Region 5 test on Friday, March 17. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 7-3. Newnan won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA)
