Alabama High School Softball - Wilson nudges Central
March 16, 2023: Florence, AL 35633 The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Wilson Warriors (Florence, AL) and the host Central Wildcats (Florence, AL), saw Wilson's softball squad nip Central by a count of 8-7.
The Warriors now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Loretto for a non-league match on Saturday, March 18. Wilson will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Lexington (Lexington, AL). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Central falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Cherokee (Cherokee, AL) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Saturday, March 18. The Indians enter the match with a record of 10-5. Cherokee lost 12-4 in their recent non-league match against Belgreen (Russellville, AL)
