In Thursday's non-league contest, the Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM) softball team overwhelmed the host Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM), by a margin of 12-3.

With the triumph, Cibola moves its record to 10-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Bears in a non-league contest on Friday, March 17.
