Kentucky High School Baseball - Boyd County gets by McCracken County
March 16, 2024: Ashland, KY 41102 Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting McCracken County Mustangs (Paducah, KY), 4-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Boyd County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Lions travel to Trinity (Louisville, KY) to battle the Shamrocks in a non-league test on Saturday, March 16. The Shamrocks come into the test with a record of 2-0. Trinity won 18-6 in their recent non-league test against South Oldham (Crestwood, KY)
With the defeat, McCracken County falls to 2-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, IL) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 19. The Bulldogs come into the test with a record of 2-2. Harrisburg lost 13-1 in their recent non-league test against Breese Central (Breese, IL)
