March 16, 2024: Louisville, KY 40207 The Trinity Shamrocks (Louisville, KY) baseball nipped the visiting Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY), 4-3 in Saturday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Shamrocks play the Waggener Wildcats (Louisville, KY) in a District 27 contest, on Monday, March 18. Trinity will attempt to better on its 5-0 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 1-0 record after their 14-4 non-league win over Trimble County (Bedford, KY).
The Lions now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Greenup County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, March 19. Boyd County will play a Musketeers squad coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Musketeers record now stands at 1-2.
