March 16, 2024: Shelbyville, KY 40065 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Trimble County Raiders (Bedford, KY) and the host Collins Titans (Shelbyville, KY), saw Trimble County's softball squad nip Collins by a count of 5-2.
The Raiders now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Walton-Verona for a non-league match on Monday, March 18. Trimble County will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Henry County (New Castle, KY). The Bearcats record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Collins falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Titans host South Oldham (Crestwood, KY) to face the Dragons in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 19. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 2-2. South Oldham lost 10-4 in their recent non-league match against Mercy (Louisville, KY)
