March 16, 2024: Eunice, LA 70535 The Eunice Bobcats (Eunice, LA) softball routed the host St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays (Eunice, LA), 12-7 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Bobcats (13-5) will now prepare for their bout against LaGrange (Lake Charles, LA). The Gators go into the 4A District 3 bout with a 2-10 record. In their last bout, LaGrange was routed by Hathaway (Jennings, LA), 19-4, in a non-league bout.
The Fighting Blue Jays now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sacred Heart for a 1A District 6 bout on Wednesday, March 20. St. Edmund will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Logansport (Logansport, LA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-5.
