Kentucky High School Softball - Harlan bounces Powell County
March 16, 2024: Stanton, KY 40380 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY) and the host Powell County Pirates (Stanton, KY), witnessed Harlan's softball squad overcome Powell County by a final score of 11-1.
The Green Dragons (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Leslie County (Hyden, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record.
The Pirates now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Breathitt County for a non-league battle on Monday, March 18. Powell County will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South Laurel (London, KY). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-1.
