Kentucky High School Softball - Harlan holds off Barbourville
March 19, 2024: Harlan, KY 40831 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the Harlan Green Dragons (Harlan, KY) and the visiting Barbourville Tigers (Barbourville, KY), saw Harlan's softball squad nip Barbourville by a count of 13-11.
The Green Dragons now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bell County for a District 52 match on Monday, March 25.
With the loss, Barbourville falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bell County (Pineville, KY) to face the Bobcats in a non-league match on Thursday, March 21. The Bobcats enter the match with a record of 2-4. Bell County won 11-1 in their recent non-league match against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY)
