In Monday's league game, the host Poly Parrots baseball team scored a close 1-0 win over the North Hollywood Huskies.

The Parrots (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Sylmar (Sylmar, CA). The Spartans go into the Valley Mission game with a 6-3 record. In their last match, Sylmar tipped Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA), 6-2, in a league match.

The Huskies now have a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennedy for a Valley Mission match on Thursday, March 19.
