Alabama High School Soccer - Calera held off by Pelham
March 17, 2022: Calera, AL 35040 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Pelham Panthers (Pelham, AL) and the host Calera Eagles (Calera, AL), saw Pelham's soccer squad get by Calera by a margin of 2-1.
The Panthers now sport a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Helena for a 6A Area 6 test on Wednesday, March 23. Pelham will meet a Huskies squad coming off a 9-1 league win over Chilton County (Clanton, AL). The Huskies record now stands at 9-6.
With the loss, Calera drops to 6-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Shelby County (Columbiana, AL) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league test on Monday, March 21. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 1-9. Shelby County lost 9-2 in their recent league test against Montevallo (Montevallo, AL)
