The Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) softball routed the host Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA), 11-6 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Lancers (6-6) will now prepare for their bout against West Hills (Santee, CA). The Wolf Pack go into the non-league bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, West Hills was routed by Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA), 8-7, in a non-league bout.

The Pointers now possess a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Mar Vista for a non-league bout on Friday, March 18. Point Loma will confront a Mariners squad coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Canyon Hills (San Diego, CA). The Mariners record now stands at 7-2.
