South Hills Huskies (West Covina, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Damien Spartans (La Verne, CA), 5-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, South Hills upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to Los Altos (Hacienda Heights, CA) to battle the Conquerors in a Hacienda test on Wednesday, March 22. The Conquerors come into the test with a record of 1-8.

With the defeat, Damien falls to 4-3 on the season. The Spartans host Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA) to battle the Huskies in a Baseline test on Thursday, March 23. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 4-4. Chino Hills lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Charter Oak (Covina, CA)
