March 17, 2023: Orange, VA 22960 Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Madison County Mountaineers (Madison, VA), 15-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Orange County upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Fighting Hornets travel to Eastern View (Culpeper, VA) to battle the Cyclones in a non-league test on Monday, March 20. The Cyclones come into the test with a record of 0-2. Eastern View lost 20-7 in their recent non-league test against Caroline (Milford, VA)
With the defeat, Madison County falls to 0-2 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to Mountain View (Quicksburg, VA) to battle the Generals in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 21. The Generals come into the test with a record of 0-1. Mountain View lost 14-3 in their recent non-league test against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA)
