Virginia High School Softball - James Wood bounces Kettle Run
March 17, 2023: Nokesville, VA 20181 The James Wood Colonels routed the host Kettle Run Cougars softball squad by a count of 27-13 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Colonels (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Spring Mills (Martinsburg, WV). The Cardinals go into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
The Cougars now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Warren County for a non-league battle on Monday, March 20. Kettle Run will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 19-0 non-league loss to Page County (Shenandoah, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-1.
