In Friday's league contest, the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) lacrosse squad routed the visiting West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC), by a count of 14-6.

Coming up next, the Nighthawks play the Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) in a Coastal/Northeastern Coastal match, on Tuesday, March 21. First Flight will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Cougars go into the match with a 3-2 record after their 14-1 league win over Swansboro (Swansboro, NC).

With the defeat, West Carteret drops to 3-2 on the season. The Patriots host Hunt (Wilson, NC) to play the Warriors in a non-league match on Monday, March 20. The Warriors go into the match with a record of 0-4. Hunt lost 17-2 in their recent league match against Heritage (Wake Forest, NC)
