The Mountain Island Charter Raptor lacrosse squad (Mt. Holly, NC), was overwhelmed 9-5 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host North Lincoln Knights (Lincolnton, NC)

Coming up next, the Knights meet the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills challenge, on Monday, March 20. North Lincoln will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 17-3 league loss to T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC).

The Raptor now sport a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Community School of Davidson for a Catawba Shores/Metro 8/South Piedmont challenge on Monday, March 20. Mountain Island Charter will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 9-5 non-league win over SouthLake Christian Academy (Huntersville, NC). The Spartans record now stands at 5-1.
