Texas High School Softball - China Spring can't get by Connally
March 17, 2023: Waco, TX 76705 In Friday's league contest, the Connally Cadets (Waco, TX) softball team held off the visiting China Spring Cougars (China Spring, TX), by a margin of 10-9.
With the triumph, Connally moves its record to 8-10 on the year. The Cadets host Salado (Salado, TX) to play the Eagles in a 4A Region III District 23 contest on Tuesday, March 21. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 13-10. Salado won 21-1 in their recent league contest against La Vega (Waco, TX)
In their next game, the Cougars play the Gatesville Hornets (Gatesville, TX) in a 4A Region III District 23 contest, on Tuesday, March 21. China Spring will attempt to move on its 8-13 season record. The Hornets come into the contest with a 13-10 record after their 8-4 league loss to Robinson (Robinson, TX).
