March 17, 2023: Lubbock, TX 79407 The Lubbock Christian Eagles softball team scored 18 runs and limited the visiting Kress Kangaroos to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Lubbock Christian moves its record to 8-8 on the year. The Eagles host Weatherford Christian (Weatherford, TX) to play the Lions in a TAPPS Division IV District 1 game on Saturday, March 18. The Lions come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Kangaroos play the Crosbyton Chiefs (Crosbyton, TX) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 21. Kress will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Chiefs come into the game with a 4-13 record after their 29-14 league win over Petersburg (Petersburg, TX).
